About Us
Green Teams Initiative is a registered nonprofit focused on building climate resilience and uplifting local communities in Kenya. Our mission encompasses restoring ecosystems, advancing health education, and promoting sustainable investments that lead to better livelihoods.
Our Solutions
At Green Teams Initiative, we believe climate action is only successful when it’s rooted in local communities. From planting trees to supporting clean energy in hospitals, our work is reshaping the future of Africa—one project, one family, and one ecosystem at a time.
We start by holding long-term policy dialogues with governments, institutions, communities, and partners. These conversations create civic awareness and ensure that every action is aligned with supportive policies.
Next, we work directly with individuals, groups, and local organizations at the grassroots. This step ensures our solutions are people-centered, building on local ownership, passion, and knowledge for long-term impact.
We then conduct research, surveys, and asset mapping to deeply understand community realities. This helps identify needs, resources, and opportunities, ensuring our interventions are evidence-based and context-specific.
